Published 2026. Three Blind Justice UK investigations into law firm reviews and the transparency of legal services offered by solicitors.
Most individuals select a solicitor similarly to how they make other choices, by reading law firm reviews. Phase 1 surveyed 50 firms across six platforms and discovered that every one of the 22 firm websites examined displayed an astonishing 100 percent five-star testimonials, while the SRA had not taken any enforcement action regarding misleading reviews.
Phase 2 delved into 32,577 reviews from the top-ranked firms on a platform developed with the SRA. This phase highlighted one firm boasting 2,529 consecutive positive reviews with no negative feedback over 1,687 days, and it also raised concerns about the tools that allow paying firms to gate, delay, and even remove reviews, potentially contributing to negative review silencing.
Phase 3 queries whether these tools silenced the warnings that clients were posting before the collapses of PM Law, Axiom Ince, and SSB Law. None of the reports establish findings about any individual firm's intent.
